It can be difficult even for adults to discuss subjects of everyday human underworld like pedophilia, human trafficking, child seduction and others, let alone for children. However, in a educational and careful language the author could address them without harming the feelings of those who could be living these terrible experiences while helping the reader to deal and to overcome them. The richness of pictures and cross‐cultural information is also part of the beauty of this book. While enjoying a very pleasure reading it is possible to know the culture, the types of food and different customs of other countries such as Cambodia, Nepal and Mozambique. The author emphasises the great effort of volunteers who work hard in humanitarian projects in Brazil and worldwide. People who live in the anonymity of the media, but give their life to save lives, loving them unconditionally and bringing light and hope to a dark and hopeless world.
