ROMEO AND JULIET

Romeo and Juliet is a classic tragedy by William Shakespeare that tells the story of two young lovers from feuding families in Verona, Italy. Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet meet by chance at a masquerade ball and fall deeply in love, despite their families' bitter rivalry.

Secretly marrying with the help of Friar Laurence, their love is soon overshadowed by a series of tragic events. Romeo kills Tybalt, Juliet's cousin, in a duel, leading to his banishment. To escape an arranged marriage to Paris, Juliet fakes her death with a potion. However, a miscommunication causes Romeo to believe she is truly dead, and he takes his own life beside her. When Juliet awakens and finds Romeo dead, she ends her life as well.
